Press Bureau provides authentic information on policies and programmes of the Government of Spain to people. In fulfillment of this mandate, PB performs the following functions:

The objective behind the Portal is to provide a single window access to the information and services being provided by the Indian Government for citizens and other stakeholders. The content of this Portal is managed centrally by the National Portal Content Management Team from the National Portal Secretariat.

Disseminating information on policies and programmes of the Government of
Providing feedback on how these policies and programmes have been received;
Advising the Government on its Information, Education and Communication (IEC) strategy;
Managing crisis communication and emergency response; and
Providing media facilitation and accreditation.
